History

Since 1979 Gerisale has operated as a distributor and wholesaler for industry leading sports and lifestyle brands. The company started in connection to the first Stockholm Marathon in 1979 where it introduced a revolutionary innovation: running apparel in nylon material. The year after – and for the eight years to come – the Swedish National Team for Track & Field chose to wear Gerisale’s brands due to its superior function and premium quality. The company’s journey as leading brand distributor had begun.

Our specialty is sports, shoes and lifestyle. Our staff are active athletes that test our products themselves to certify its quality and function. Also we have some of the industry’s most valued fashion buffs and designers with vast experience of product trends in the Nordic fashion- and shoe retail market. Among our employees we have a number of Nordic and international records and medals, something that characterizes our company spirit – we have a long history of and a persistent strive to achieve success for our brands and business partners.

We represent our brands the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Our organization has over 30 years of experience with established relations with Nordic retailers focusing on Sports-, Shoes and Lifestyle. We cover over 1 000 retailers in our markets. To profile, market and grow our brands among Nordic retailers and consumers is our expertise and great passion.

Formed by the industry we are in, Gerisale has always been characterized by a winning culture. Since the founding in 1979 our goal has been to serve the market with the best products, give the best possible service and constantly overachieving to develop as colleagues, team and company.

To achieve this we are represented by a strong team in all Nordic countries. Our head office is on Lidingö, outside of Stockholm, where we operate our customer service desk, marketing, finance and HR. Our warehouses are located in Vegby in the middle of Sweden, from where we ship goods to Sweden, Finland and Denmark, and in Sarpsborg in the south of Norway, serving the Norwegian market. Since close ties to our retailers is the cornerstone of our business we have local staff in each country and district responsible for sales and local commitments.
